Master Cutler’s Challenge

Nicholas Associates Group is a proud sponsor of this years’ 2019 Master Cutler’s Challenge. Not only are we one of the headline sponsors but we have organised a team of people to take on this challenge.

We need your help!

As an organisation, our teams throughout the UK select a local charity partner to support, this year our teams across Rotherham and Sheffield have chosen to take part in the Master Cutler’s Challenge.

This challenge originally began in 2008 when Gordon Bridge invited businesses of the city region to transform a £50 investment into as much money for two local charities as possible. Businesses could use whatever means they wanted to do, within legal limits of course!

The chosen charities back in 2008 were St Luke’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice and they are the same for 2019. Each year both charities need to raise around £6,000 a day just to exist. Both play a vital role in our local communities and we are thrilled to be able to support them.

Our Challenge team have set themselves an ambitious target of raising £10,000 by the time the challenge closes on the 20th September 2019.

Since the challenge started our team have been raising money through quiz nights, dress down days, tuck shops and scratch cards.  The team are now focussing on the main event which takes place on Thursday 19th September at Hellaby Hall Hotel in Rotherham.

Our ‘Celebrating South Yorkshire Ball’ will be attended by a range of people from large corporate businesses to SME’s and; each carries an opportunity to advertise to fellow local businesses. or if you are interested in attending our charity ball, tickets are on sale for £60 pp or £500 for a table of 10.

We are reaching out to local celebrities, sports personalities and businesses to ask if they would consider donating an item to support our Master Cutler’s Challenge,  If you are able to donate a raffle prize no matter how large or small, it will be much appreciated.

In return, we will ensure that you receive endorsement and advertising at our event and via our Master Cutler social media platforms.

Nicholas Associates Groups’ mission is ‘to enable people to be their best’. We pride ourselves in giving back to the communities we work in and we are extremely proud of our South Yorkshire roots.
