Nicholas Associates Group Hosts Fifth Annual Golf Day, Raising Over £2,000 for Rotherham Holiday Aid

Held in partnership with CSP Systems Ltd and Oxley & Coward Solicitors LLP, the event welcomed 80 golfers across 20 teams at Sitwell Golf Club, all united by a shared goal of raising vital funds for a local charity that helps disadvantaged families enjoy much-needed holidays and create lasting memories.

Representatives from a wide range of businesses took part in the event, including FDQ, Vertiv, MD Law, Warburton Signs, Plascompo, Olano, Actus Insurance Ltd, Acorn Aluminium, HKL Specialists, Craven Wildsmith, Egeplast (UK) Ltd, Workspace Blinds, 3Shires ATM Solutions, Attis Insurance, Brearley & Co Accountants, Cutler IT, C21 Accountants, Prinford Fencing, VSL, Eagle Platforms, and Sapoflow.

The annual event continues to be a highlight in the Nicholas Associates Group calendar, combining community spirit with an opportunity for organisations across the region to come together and support an important cause. Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors, and supporters, this year’s Golf Day raised more than £2,000 for Rotherham Holiday Aid.

Competition on the course was strong throughout the day, with Actus Insurance Ltd emerging as this year’s champions after an outstanding performance, finishing with an impressive 97 points to secure the top spot.

Beyond the fundraising and competition, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to connect while making a meaningful difference in the lives of families who may otherwise be unable to enjoy a holiday.

Supporting Families Across Rotherham

For more than 40 years, Rotherham Holiday Aid has provided short UK holiday breaks for local families facing hardship, including those affected by poverty, illness, disability, and bereavement. The charity’s work gives families the opportunity to spend quality time together, improve their wellbeing, and create positive memories during challenging times.

Individuals and businesses can support the charity through donations, fundraising initiatives, sponsorship opportunities, and community partnerships, helping ensure more local families can benefit from a much-needed break.
