Working 40 hours a week – Monday to Friday
Job Purpose: Debt management, monitoring and controlling credit risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for managing your own ledger, and dealing with a large number of live accounts, which range from large national to SME clients
- Support the team with reconciliation of payments ensuring these are done accurately
- Responsible for credit checking existing and potential clients, monitoring credit limits and controlling credit risk
- Create new customer accounts
- Assist in the reconciliation of client accounts therefore a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
Skill, Knowledge & Qualifications required:
- To be considered for this position you will ideally have a minimum of two years of Credit Control experience, have a desire to work as part of a successful team in a supportive but challenging working environment
- You must possess an analytical mind and can identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently, demonstrate excellent communication skills showing high standards of customer service throughout and be able to influence others to ensure a positive outcome
- Have the ability to learn quickly
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in using Credit Control financial systems is desirable for this role as is a good working knowledge of Excel and Word
