Enabling people to be their best
We have a tradition of giving back to society which is embodied by our Chairman, Nick Cragg. Our work with partner charities locally, nationally and internationally has an emphasis on empowering people.
We work with our Charity Partners to support their aims and ambitions through fundraising activities, raising awareness and joint initiatives to enhance their impact within the communities they support.
Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge Team
Each year colleagues from across our Group get together to train and take on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge.
The challenge is a gruelling 26.4-mile hike, ascending and descending three mountains in 12hours.
Since September 2018 this team of individuals have managed to raise over £10k for our international charity partner PHASE Worldwide.
These vital funds will go to sustainably reduce poverty through community-based health, education and livelihood projects. This will particularly support the most vulnerable (so-called ‘low caste’ families, children and people with disabilities).
Dress Down Days
On the last Friday of each month, our colleagues donate £2 to Mind to ‘dress down’ for work.
Throughout the year we also host, bake sales and cook off’s in order to raise money.
We actively take part in Mental Health Awareness week, providing our teams with useful information and guidance and the opportunity to come together and discuss ways in which as a business we can improve work-life balance and general mental health.
Be a Good Egg!
Each year our teams across the UK reach out to clients, candidates, local businesses and the community to ask for support in our annual Easter Egg appeal.
This appeal helps less fortunate children in our local areas, by asking for donations of Easter Eggs our teams can bring a smile to the face of a child.
Last year the appeal was an incredible success with over 5000 eggs being delivered to local children’s wards and hospices across all our local communities.
